A virus renamed several of our users word and excel files by appending a specific file extension after .docx or .xlsx. Example is "JulyReport.docx.xxxx" or JulyReport.xlsx.xxxx". I read that the first thing to do is insert that file extension in the LDAPPL3 and query the affected devices after they have scanned and search for that file extension. My second question is that, can I insert and add that file extension in the location where the multimedia scanned extensions are so my query criteria will search for "Computer"."Multimedia Files"."Scanned Extensions" LIKE ".xxxx" I really appreciate your answer and suggestions.
