In agent configuration settings | Start, please ensure Custom data forms is selected so that users are able to see the form and fill in vaules in the form.
Then in Custom data forms section, there are two options: Manual update forms& Automatic update. When Manual update forms is selected, only the latest deployed custom data form on a device can be shown in the client, and only the information for the latest form will be shown in the inventory list. The test case below will help you understand it better:
1. Create first custom data form, deploy it to the agent server
2. Logon to the agent server, fill in the first form, perform a scan and sync to core server
3. Navigate back to core server, check the inventory information of the corresponding agent server, the first form information is shown there
4. Create second custom data form, deploy it to the same agent server
5. Logon to the agent server again, fill in the second form, perform a scan and sync to the core server
6. Navigate to core server, only the second form information is shown in the inventory scan report
If you would like to deploy different forms to the client server and show information for all the forms in the inventory list, you could follow the steps below:
1. In agent configuration, please enable Automatic update
2. Select the forms that you want to deploy to the client side
3. Schedue update to agent side or redeploy the agent
4. From start menu on agent server, please open custom data form, you will be able to select one of the forms to open and fill in the values
5. After performing inventory scan on the agent server, all filled forms will be kept with the latest value.
